The newsletter is one of the few instruments through which alumni outside of Austin can be encouraged to maintain contact with UTARC. Many alumni are not located in Austin, but wish to know how the club is doing, and are willing to donate money when the club is looking for donations. Although it often happens, the Newsletter Editor really should not have to write all of the material in each newsletter. Members who are doing interesting things (participating in contests, building equipment, trying out new or exotic modes of operation, doing public service events, etc.) are highly encouraged to write about their activities for inclusion in the newsletter. If you move, please make sure to inform the club Secretary/Treasurer of your new address, so that you can continue to receive the club newsletter.
Printed copies of the newsletter are mailed out each month that the club meets. Online versions of club newsletters are available as well.
