World Wide Web Page

In 1994, UTARC members created a World Wide Web page to promote the club. The information is available to anyone on the Internet, anywhere in the world, any time of day. The web pages include an electronic version of the monthly newsletters, contact information for club officers and members, a history of the club, lots of photographs and descriptions of club activities, and information about how to get involved in ham radio and the University of Texas Amateur Radio Club.

The club's web site is now running on a server set up in the club station. This gives the club web page maintainers the freedom to set up CGI scripts for pages like the RF Safety Calculator, and ensures that we have as much disk space available as we will ever possibly need. Access logs on this web server indicate that the UTARC web site is popular and has been visited by browsers in well over 100 different countries.

The UTARC web page's URL is: http://n5xu.ece.utexas.edu/.
