Housekeeping

One afternoon a year (often in the spring,) UTARC members get together to perform maintenance and housekeeping of the station. This generally includes repair to the boardwalk, vacuuming and dusting the club station, inspection of the tower and coax for any signs of wear or fatigue, and testing the air conditioner for the summer season, among other smaller tasks. All members are encouraged to keep the station tidy year-round, however. If you see or make a mess, clean it up. If the trash can is full, put in a new liner and take the trash and recycling downstairs. New trash can liners, spare rolls of paper towels, and a can of Endust for Electronics can be found on top of the bookshelf.
