While the pages of this manual might make it sound like there's a lot of work involved in being a member of the University of Texas Amateur Radio Club (UTARC), that is not necessarily the case. Most of the rules and procedures for using the club station are simple to learn, very easy to get used to, and will help ensure that the club equipment will remain operational and dynamic for years to come. The club can be a great resource to personal growth in the Amateur Radio avocation. Hopefully, this manual can encourage the members of the club to become more involved and excited about Amateur Radio!
