Members on the Move

Alumni George K5TR and Trey N5KO were members of the multi-operator team at station 6D2X in northern Mexico that participated in the recent 1999 CQ World Wide DX Contest, Phone. They made over 7,700 contacts in 48 hours!

Local supporter of UTARC, John Langdon N5CQ cleaned out his garage recently, and donated thousands of ham radio magazines to the club. Thanks to his generosity, UTARC now has a complete collection of QST from 1959 to the present. We also have a substantial collection of CQ and 73 magazines. John's contributions have also filled in holes in our collections of QEX, NCJ, and The DX Magazine.
