The University of Texas Amateur Radio Club would like to extend its deepest appreciation to alumnus John Langdon N5CQ. John has donated to the club a Force-12 Elite Force EF-606 six-element 50 MHz monoband yagi antenna. This is a significantly better antenna than our current six meter yagi, and is much appreciated!

The National Contest Journal (NCJ) has offered UTARC a complimentary subscription to the premier special interest publication for the contesting community! Issues will be made available in the club station.

Ken KM5FA purchased some equipment for the club station at the last Belton HamExpo swapfest. This includes a Curtis Command Center AC power distribution device, and a Tektronix RM-503 oscilloscope. The osciloscope has been put into the 19'' equipment rack and connected the AEA PK-900 to be used for ``crossed-oval'' tuning on RTTY.
