These are some photographs taken of various group activities of the University of Texas Amateur Radio Club. Also included are some pictorials of club QSL cards, and a pictorial of some of the regular operators of the club station, N5XU.

The Club Station

  • 2004 New Tower
    A new forty foot tower is installed on the eastern penthouse of WRW.
  • 2003 Aerospace Engineering Satellite Dish
    A new three meter dish appears on the eastern penthouse of WRW. A new tower base for N5XU.
  • 2002 Satellite Antennas
    The inital N5XU satellite antenna configuration is not optimal, but gets us on the air.
  • 2001 Satellite Station Mast
    The saga of cutting a 21' mast to 15' and hauling it up to the shack.
  • 2001 Kenwood TS-600 Memorial
    A photo tribute to our venerable 50MHz radio, before moving on to a new owner.
  • 2000 Views From the Top
    A collection of photos taken from just below the height of the club's tribander yagi.
  • 1998-2000 ACES Construction
    A building across the street from N5XU is demolished, and a new building is being built.
  • 2000 A New Amplifier for 222 MHz
    An AM-6155 amplifier is modified for 222 MHz.
  • 1999 A New Band: 1296 MHz
    A transverter and antenna are both mounted on the N5XU tower.
  • 1999 Shack Ventilation System
    A new blower and ventwork is installed in our store room.

    A new tower and new antennas were raised at the club station in April, 1996.
