from the oldest surviving club station log book. The first contact in this
log is dated October 15, 1970, and would have been made from the club station
W5EHM, just after the move to WRW. Notable calls on this page include ZE1GDS
("Jamboree Stn - Zambia,") KY6PMR ("Special Navy Stn.,") stations in Spain,
Italy, Alaska, Canada, Chile, and Germany. Notice also that CQs, and stations
called but not worked are noted in the log, a requirement that the FCC has
since removed from the Amateur Service regulations.
