The first two satellite antennas at
N5XU are a small four-element
end-mounted yagi for 146 MHz donated to the club by George K5TR, and an
eight-element cross-yagi for 435 MHz donated to the club by Robert K5PI.

The linearly-polarized yagi for 146 MHz was mounted at a 45 degree angle on
the fiberglass boom because it looked cooler. These antennas actually got
the club on the air and wwere used for a while before a better two meter
antenna could be found.
