First Fall Meeting -Sept 14, 7 pm

Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 7:00 pm. ENS 126. The program will consist of a brief introduction to amateur radio and a fine technical program by our club advisor, Dr. Ted Rappaport on “Antennas, the key component of any amateur radio station.” Please plan to join us for this interesting perspective on both the operations and technology of Amateur Radio. Depending on the interest of our members, I am prepared to host a series of License classes on Tuesday’s at 7:00 pm. Like last semester we would focus on the Technician class license for a few weeks and then move on to the General Class License. We will discuss the classes at the September 14 meeting.
